Question #4: How does desire and fate play a role in pages 11-32?

After having two of the same dreams the boy decides to go the crazy gypsy to find out what the dream means. She says that the dream is telling him to go to Egypt and find the treasure, god is controlling the boys fate because "dreams are the language of God". So god is pretty much telling the boy to go to Egypt. When the boy goes and sit on a bench he meets an old wise king. The king tells him to follow his personal legend and his dreams. After talking to the king the boy decides to accept his offer. The boy gives 1/10 of his sheep to the king and in return the king told the bout here the treasure was. So therefore the boy decides to follow his fate!
